well, I owe everyone a hello! and finally, the big news about my hiatus and what is going on with my laptop situation.

You all know the story, I'm sure. I've only been complaining about it for 4 months now ahah. My hard drive randomly crashed in December. Winter quarter started for me and I didn't have time or money to go get it looked at. I feared for the worst for so long that soon I just sort of let everything go in peace. I was FINALLY able to take it in to a professional last week, and sure enough, the hard drive is no more...meaning everything on it is gone. Its a bit sad, considering I lost a lot of unfinished projects and all of my editing material. Be that as it may, I have decided to use this as a way to embark on a clean slate. I have a ton of fresh ideas brewing and I'm stoked to start editing once again!

The plan of action is not to get my old laptop fixed, but to go ahead and get a new one. I don't see the value in fixing a laptop that broke down within the first year of its life. Plus, it's already out-dated and laptop's now are much cheaper than they were when I bought mine.
I can't guarantee that this purchase will happen in the near future. I have to think about the money part of it too. So far I'm working my ass off saving for Coachella in April, as well as my car, and living in general....bills and what not. So I'm not exactly sure how long it will be until I am editing again.

Which brings me to my hiatus... I'm technically still on it, so I won't be partaking in any mep's, collabs, or any of my own projects. But I AM editing for Clannad right now...I'm using vegas on my mom's computer....she would slice me if she knew, she's convinced it will reek havoc on the condition of her dinosaur laptop. But I don't plan to do any heavy duty editing with it. I just wanted to keep CTAS flowing, and it wouldn't be fair to expect Shadowfoxx85 to do all of the editing himself lol.
Speaking of which...expect a new episode out in the next few weeks!!

Le sigh. I will be deleting any projects that I had listed on YT. Its quite depressive, but I'm not letting it get me down. There's always a chance to recreate.

I want to thank all of you for being so patient and loyal. I know you're all subscribed to my YT account to see my work, and sadly I haven't been able to pour my soul into anything new for a long while.... But I am so excited to start off fresh! I want to explore new styles of editing and different genres of music. I want to really express myself. I also want to start working with RL footage and pursuing other forms of editing.
I'm looking forward to it.

In the mean time, I love you all and will let you guys know when I'm off hiatus!
